Meet the Loyal Mavericks

A Breeders Kennel specializing in Fluffy breeds. In all seriousness the true focus is collection of different breed colors, as well as spreading love to my favorites that don't get enough love like the keeshond.

I love all dogs and may get dogs outside of my decided specialty, but I hope to have a ton of dogs on this account someday. Each kennel having one of all colors of a specific breed. (sometimes multiple of the same 'genes' but different varieties of that color)

Origin of the Name

I was in an old dog adoptable group like this one that was limited to a fake 'purebred' made up of different sled dog breeds. In that group my character's kennel was named the same thing. This was cause huskies, and husky like breeds are notoriously maverick like in behavior. The 'owner' I created as a muse for these huskies was loyal to them in every way. Thus The Loyal Mavericks, a title that contradicts itself was made. That group has long sense split up unfortunately. I still have the characters, and art that came from the group.

Naming the Dogs

The names of the dogs are as such because I love japan and it's culture. Much if not all of the dogs names are references to Japanese media, culture, history, or otherwise. Some are even in Japanese. If you catch the references great, if not that's just fine as well.

I try not to include the call name in the full name (this doesn't always track of course) as it's apart of the reference. I also make sure that the call name is relatively shortened to three or four words so when I equip them and such it isn't too much of a hassle.
