Dandelion Hill

hi, and welcome to dandelion hill! i'm elise, a professional artist and lifelong lover of dogs. having grown up with autism, dogs have been my special interest for as long as i can remember, and have shaped my life massively. i developed my artistic abilities drawing dogs all throughout my childhood, and only ever surrounded myself with dog-themed media and toys. honestly, this still applies in some ways.

when i was six years old, my parents bought a rat terrier puppy from a (shady) mall pet store. even though rat terriers are generally not known for their patience with small children, chloe was a defiance. she and i forged a bond so strong that we were almost never apart. loving, protective, and ever tolerant of my childish antics, she was the first animal i ever bonded with to such a profound degree. sadly, due to being poorly bred, chloe endured autoimmune diseases her entire life, and passed away in 2017 at age 10, and i miss her dearly every day. chloe is enshrined as dandelion hill's mascot!

on furry paws, my goal is to focus primarily on my favorite dog breed, rat terriers, competing in earthdog trials, as ratting dogs are my absolute favorite dogs with jobs. i also love chihuahuas, jack russell terriers, miniature pinschers, toy fox terriers, and italian greyhounds, and i would like to focus on these breeds as well!
