[Overview] : Honeyflower Fields is currently specializing in pure lines of Australian Shepherds and Belgian Malinois. These lines were created from my own original stock, without influence from other kennel lines or dogs owned by other breeders. On my secondary account, SweeterHoneybee (#1718294), I am working on Siberian Huskies and Shetland Sheepdogs.

[Aussies] : The HYFLF Aussies are not being bred for colors as of yet, but are currently focused on both 24HH and aptitudes. Herding aptitude is preferred and bred for, but Tracking, Flyball, and Agility are all still accepted for now. Once 24HH is achieved, exclusively Herding aptitude will be the next goal. For stats, these dogs are centered on Intelligence, and occasionally Stamina.

[Malinois] : The HYFLF Malinois are the newest line, still crawling slowly towards betterment. They are being bred for Schutzhund aptitude specifically, though some Tracking and Obedience have been allowed until the genetics get more stabilized. As far as stats, higher Strength and Intelligence are the targets for each new generation.

[Kennel Operations] : These are the laws which drive this breeding program.

• - Females will be bred only twice. Until the HH/hh numbers reach our goal, females will be bred at Level 5 and again at Level 20. This shortens the time required to breed out defects and achieve better generations.
• - After a female has been bred twice, she will be moved to the 'Active Non-Breeding' tab to continue her work as competition-only. She will also be given an [NB] in her name to denote her status on the Breeding Center page.
• - Only 3 generations of 8 dogs each of a breed will be kept at any time. When time, the oldest generation will be transferred to my third account, SweetestHoneybee(#1718416), to run competitions and live out their careers.
• - Lineages will be meticulously tracked in each dog's Description, and will include both the names of each parent as well as their titles upon breeding.
• - Focused and unfocused training days will also be tracked in each dog's Description, with the number as well as the dog's title for each.
• - When time, each generation of dogs will have their genotypes and aptitudes lined up and crossmatched to find the best possible breeding pairs. Each dog will be assigned an appropriate partner in their Notes.
