I used to play this game quite a bit since 2018. I've been active on and off throughout those years, and then made this account in 2024, played for maybe a couple weeks and then I haven't played since! I randomly remembered about the game and decided to return after so long. I hope to stay active for a while as I work on my breeding projects with my Border Collies and Standard Poodles, but I'm not sure how long that might last for.
I had quite a lot on that original account of mine and collected all sorts of rare items and critters. I still have the login so I logged in and sent myself a few of those things through the DM system (I couldn't let such cool items go to waste!). Other than that, I'm starting completely from scratch and hope to finally reach level 20 and make lots of new friends. :)
The things have found I enjoy most on this game is making friends, joining and interacting with an active guild, roleplaying, helping newbies, collecting all sorts of items and critters, and-- of course-- all things FP genetics and breeding. Some day I will get that Genetics Genie Master reputation!
My Kennel, Star Struck Kennels, is simply named for my love of stars and space (hence my username). I actually considered taking astronomy in high school, but I decided against because I knew physics was involved and physics is basically math and I do not like math... lol. I am, however, fascinated in self-teaching the basics about the solar system and how space works in general. I also like to keep up with space missions and such, like the recent rocket sent to slingshot around the moon Artemis II!
My dogs, on the other hand, don't really fit the theme. They're just named after characters from anime and such that I like. I thought it'd be funny to have dogs named after anime characters. The more I like the dog (which is typically determined by the genetics and how they look) the more I like the character they're named after! For the most part, at least, because none of them are named after characters I don't like either. Sometimes the names are just random by whatever I can come up with at the moment.
Other than FP, I actually enjoy playing other games quite a bit. I usually through cycles or phases of what game I'm currently hooked on, or sometimes I'll go months without playing anything at all. I tend to enjoy open world RPGs or story games-- if it's got interesting characters, beautiful scenery, or simply just gameplay I enjoy, it's right down my alley. Some of these games would be Subnautica, Stray, the Assassin's Creed games (specifically the newer ones that are more open world and exploration based), Detroit: Become Human, Outer Wilds, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and Minecraft. I also love a good game to play with friends or family, and my go-tos are Lethal Company and Phasmophobia.
Some of my other hobbies would be what I like to call the Big Three: reading, writing, and drawing. I tend to like fantasy based books and stories, but I also enjoy a good sci-fi, dystopian, or romance. Honestly anything that's fictional and that keeps me hooked. xD I've written more things than I can count, most of which I haven't actually finished. Since elementary school, if I have an idea, I start writing. While I haven't finished much, I've drastically improved my writing and found my own writing style. As for drawing, I don't actually do it very often, but once I get started on something I will sit there until I finish it even it takes hours. If I don't finish it one go, there's a good chance it's never getting finished lol.
I own two black cats, an Australian Shepherd, seven chickens, two rabbits, and a horse. My horse, Dahlia, is still being trained, but I've done barrel racing on other horses, and that's what I'm aiming for her to be. I do lots of training with my aussie, Ruby, and she's come a long way since I got her! She can do Sit, Lie Down, Stay, Weave, Up (which is stand on her hind legs on her own), Come, Bang! (play dead), Heel, Center (sit between my legs), Hide and Seek, Follow, Leave It, Wait, and I am currently teaching her other fun things like how to shut a door or turn light switches on and off. She's a bit reactive but we're working on that. :)
As for the other animals-- my two black cats are Lexi and Luther. Lexi doesn't like anyone but a few select people, but Luther is very friendly and loves being involved in literally everything. I have two laying hens (Willow and Kiaya), a rooster named Hei Hei (yes, after the one in Moana, he really is that much of an airhead but I love him), and four new chicks (Viva, Fushi, Maxine, and Bertholdt) who are nearly ready to go out in the coop with the adults. Our rabbits are very fluffy and soft and named Holly and Maggie.
- My favorite color is purple, but I also enjoy the color green.
- My favorites scents are natural ones. Some of these would include lavender, eucalyptus, mint, the smell of rain, pine, and so on. And it's not weird to say I also like the smell of sharpies and gasoline, right...?
- I have an INFP personality type, but I've noticed the older I get, the more extroverted I get. I think I'm more of an ambivert than anything (which is a mix between introvert and extrovert).
- I really do love to roleplay. It's a great way to make friends and get to know people and it's infinitely better than talking to a chat bot or something, because it's with an actual person! I roleplay just about anything, even animals (I'm a warrior cats kid lol), so if you want a roleplay buddy, DM me! I might just be that person!
- If I could I'd live as a na'vi in the world of Avatar. It's my dream.
- If you read a name somewhere in my kennel, whether it be one of my dogs, a critter, or one of my irl pets, and wonder if it's a reference to something... yes, it most likely is. Example: Willow and Kiaya are indeed named after the 1988 movie Willow. :)
If you made it to the end, thank you, I'm impressed. I'm a yapper.
Um... I'm not good at endings. Join the guild?
