Welcome to Shokupan Show Pups! My main training focus is showing, and all of my dogs are names after flavor combos in baked goods/other confectionaries.Litter/Breeding Standards & Policies
Breeding:
Based on my own preference, I will not breed bitches more than 3 times within their lifespan. Studs will not be used more than 5 litters that will reside in my own kennel, but will largely be open to siring external litters indefinitely. If you see a stud in my kennel you're interested in that is not already listed, feel free to reach out! 99.999999999% of the time, I'll say yes :) I try to keep stud prices low, even if they're 24HH, just because I want new players to be able to have their own 24HH litters too.
Adopting From My Litters:
If a litter I’ve bred is 2+ days old, I will generally NOT be accepting any bids under 50% of the litter’s Pet Home price UNLESS you own the litter’s other parent (if applicable), or are a new player. I’ll accept whatever seems like a fair/affordable (to you) bid on 0-1 day old litters (as low as $2), but from 2 days old onwards, this rule stands. I gotta make sure I can keep taking care of my dogs :) additionally, I’ll usually accept multiple bids from the same person across different litters, but usually only accept 1 bid per person on an individual litter.
Other Policy(s):
While for the most part I don't really care what you do after purchasing one of my pups, if you just add your prefix to them and try to resale them for more I will straight up 100% just block you and stop doing any sort of business with you. I may rebuy them first, but I'm not really cool with that. Don't dropship the dogs I breed :/
About Me & My Kennel
My primary focus is on Chinese Cresteds, with a Secondary focus developing in Bassets. I also have some other breeds, but those aren’t intended to be ones I develop a key lineage for—they’re either rescues, just for fun, and/or are part of a project of recreating my last surviving, recently departed childhood dog, a bulldog named Maximus (Miss you, Stinky Guy!). I breed for healthier genotypes over phenotypes, though am certainly not opposed to more diversity in my pack! :)
IRL, I’ve had 9 dogs throughout my life: 2 gun dogs, 1 Boston terrier, 1 frenchie/corgi mix, and 5 bulldogs. My fiancé and I don’t own a dog currently, but are hoping to be in a good place to get a Chinese crested, basset hound, bull terrier, or chihuahua from an AKC-registered breeder within the next few years! (I know that's a wide variety of breeds, but we want to keep a variety of options depending on our lifestyle when that time comes)
Fun fact, my prefix is an abbreviation of Bread Tag! I have somehow accumulated over 100 within my apartment, so I’ve decided to commit to this bit to the absolute fullest.
