The OSBORN Ranch

Tucked deep in the rugged mountains of Alaska, The OSBORN Ranch is a small, family-run homestead built around hard work, simple living, and a love for the wild country around us, far from the hustle and bustle. Our little ranch family includes four hardworking mules, our two pitbulls, and one very spoiled ranch cat. Our mules are an important part of life here, carrying supplies, gear, and game through the steep mountain country where trucks and horses can’t always go. Life at The OSBORN Ranch follows the seasons. We hunt the mountains, fish the rivers and lakes, catch crab down closer to the shores, raise what we can, and rely on the land to provide. Some days are spent packing into the backcountry with the mules, others fishing or hunting for supper, tending animals, or simply enjoying the quiet of the Alaskan wilderness. It isn’t an easy way of life, but we wouldn’t trade it. The OSBORN Ranch is where family,livestock, mountains, and wilderness all come together and where there’s always another trail waiting to be explored.
