Rune Crest Kennels

History:
Established in 2007 as Written in the Wind Kennels (prefix: WitW), then Sweetgrass Kennels (SWGK), in 2022 changed to Arcane Rune Kennels (RUNE) to incorporate my border collie, Rune. Updated in 2026 to Rune Crest (RUNE) as I try to find a kennel name that both fits my vision and continues to use the RUNE prefix.
While I primarily started as a sighthound kennel, I quickly incorporated chihuahuas when I lucked into owning one. My chihuahua lines are consistently on the BoB board and are more and more often topping the BoS board!

Current Events:
Chihuahuas remain my top breed and the one with the most focus currently. I do not and never have used outside lines for them. There are other breeds that I am more open to using outside dogs.

Sales/Studs/Litters:
- I almost never have adult dogs for sale unless it's from a breed boost or similar.
- Studs are listed for $100k. Let me know when you need him unlocked and I will do so. For chihuahuas, I require your dog to be level 30. I do not offer my female dogs for others.
- I often have chihuahua litters with puppies available. I ask $200k with my prefix (RUNE). I think that keeps them generally available to most. The price is negotiable. If you're interested in a particular puppy that I don't have up for sale in the litter, shoot me a message and I will likely be able to accommodate!
- I'm not interested in bid for bid at this time, but I will bid on a puppy of yours and return it, if asked.
