Breeds of Distinction · Rough Collies, Afghan Hounds & Salukis

?

Welcome to Caspian Kennels, proudly established in 2004, my little corner of the web where I specialize in Rough Collies, Afghan Hounds & Salukis! In real life, I am a herding breed enthusiast and own working Border Collies and Australian Shepherds on my farm. I am a huge advocate for Livestock Guardian Dogs and teaching potential owners the proper training methods (and lifelong training!) of LGDs to prevent rehoming of a farmer's partner. My partner, Boris, is a registered Karakchan and our farm would not be what it is today without him.

Our PhilosophyThe Kennels

At Caspian Kennels, we focus on quality over quantity. For our foundation lines, we do not inbreed, females are only bred once and at maximum, twice in their lifetime, and outside breeding only moves forward with serious consideration.

The Phoenix Event & PBB have been such a blast, I am so proud of how my dogs have done. I am thinking about future lines and thinking deeply about what those will look like in FP3. I may have found a new affinity for another breed through this event, so I'll see where that takes me as the summer progresses.
