About me I'm Anna, aka Annushka, aka Velphegor, born in 1989 (old maid!) and living in a small village near Sysert town, Russia. My time is +10 FP time, so feel free to message me in the middle of the night, it's the best time to catch me!

I work as a vet (graduated in 2011), having switched from general practice with a bit of ICU bias to anatomic and clinical pathology. The AP got me quite a name around Russian vets but I still can only dream of a western residency training because of all that paperwork. I travel around lots for conferences, workshops and such, and may sometimes be doing FP dogs from some european country just because. xD I used to have a work instagram (with a few pics of my pets here and there), here, but BE CAREFUL. Pathology is not for the folks who are easy to impress. Insta is not active right now, however.

During my life I've owned a few borzois, Irish setters, mixed breed cats. and a variety of other species including layer hens.

Concerning the Malahite Band (the former name) Originally started in April 2004, this kennel has known good ol' times way before even color and healh genetics were introduced. I have screenshots on my older computer having all 10 dogs of mine in the breed boards and accidentally showing up in overall boards as well, but I managed to skip the memory garden page when I was transferring and now it's only my memory. EPIC FAIL :(I went on an extremely long hiatus when I went to vet school, and returned first in in February 2018 and then in August 2025, deciding to totally restart my English Setter lines.

Right now I've renamed my kennel into Sysert Syndicate (because, you know, new life and such) and am hopeful to have time to rebiuld my lines from scratch.

Concerning studs and sales ES and SD are both very small breeds so I believe breeders who are interested all know each others' dogs. I usually do not put the dogs up for stud or public sale because there are not so many buyers interested - and, with the current lines my dogs are also of not so much value anymore. Anyways, if you happen to be interested in any of my studs, feel free to ask! Puppies from the unpicked litters could be sold upon request as well, just message me, I don't bite!
