Welcome to Berna Land Kennels — where we breed quality Labrador Retrievers from our carefully developed lines. Our facilities include training areas for water work and field trials, and we proudly host competitions in both sports. Every Labrador here is raised with love, purpose, and passion for the breed.

About Berna

I am a long-time member of Furry Paws starting back in 2009, where I bred Bernese Mountain Dogs and Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs. Most of my time back then was spent in the Art Sales section, creating commissions for others. Eventually, I became overwhelmed and decided to take a break — one that lasted five years!

When I returned, I wanted a fresh start — no more commissions, just the joy of breeding dogs. I began with a few pet-store pups and have been building my own lines ever since.

Why Labradors? When I first joined Furry Paws back in 2009, it was because of my real-life yellow Lab — he was three years old at the time, and I was a college student. Time flew by: my boy crossed the Rainbow Bridge, and a new Lab boy is now walking by my side. My love for Labs never faded, and it felt only right to dedicate my kennel to them.
