| Notes: | Introducing my C litter of Shetland Sheepdogs between Black Opal x Cheddar. After having 2 successful breedings with Cheddar, I knew I wanted to breed her to this incredible male that I fell in love with. I retired Cheddar on the 28th of October after 6 successful litters and a great venture into Herding. Cheddar was my keeper out of my Valon x Dreamer litter. Cheddar was a super intense, highly driven female with a lot of power and drive. Cheddar was very consistent with her litters, she passes on a lot of drive, structure and so many other incredible traits that I'm seeing within her litters. Cheddar achieved her Champion title within Herding and displayed very strong herding instincts that switched on effortlessly when training or competing. I loved Cheddar, she was the prime example of what a Shetland Sheepdog should be like. Black Opal achieved his World Champion title within Herding, he displays strong natural herding instincts, great wide flanks and is fully trained on whistle commands. Opal is an intense, highly driven male with a lot of promise, he improves drive, throws gorgeous masculine type features and improves pigment. Unfortunately after this litter was born, I find out that there is a lot of inbreeding in Opal's pedigree, I do not associate with inbreeding and will sell an entire litter to pet homes. I will not be keeping back a puppy as much as I want to, this is such a shame and it really does but a dampner on breeding. No reservations will be approved - all are being sold to pet homes (including my keeper). :( |
